Famed Vietnamese cuisine
reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s.

In 1993, celebrated restaurateur Rick Wahlstedt and partners set out to capture the seductive spirit and vivid flavors reminiscent of Saigon in the 1920s, introducing the original Le Colonial to the bustling Manhattan dining scene. It quickly became a glamorous New York hotspot, marking the inception of the first upscale fine dining Vietnamese restaurant in the country.

Joe King joined the venture to help open the iconic Chicago location in 1996. With three decades of great success, Le Colonial now graces Chicago, Houston, Atlanta, Lake Forest, Delray Beach, and Naples and is set to open restaurants in Denver and Scottsdale. Today, we celebrate thirty years of famed Vietnamese cuisine, delivering exquisite attention to detail in a luxurious, classic, and idyllic atmosphere.
